On the other hand, newer models like the Mach-E or ID.4 may still be appraised favorably. Replacement costs for EV batteries can vary widely, and understanding which pack might need replacement is key to determining a vehicle's worth.
EV-specific pickup logistics
Once you decide to donate your electric vehicle, we’ll arrange for a tow flatbed pickup. It’s important to consider high-voltage (HV) disconnects during the towing process to prevent safety hazards. We recommend including the charging cable with your donation. If needed, we can also facilitate a pre-inspection at a local Tesla Service Center or dealership to assess the vehicle’s condition. Non-running EVs can still be donated, and we have procedures in place to handle them safely and efficiently.

Some models may have additional features such as Autopilot or Full Self-Driving, which can enhance value further.
